That’s right, baby!
You’re reading my thoughts right now and you JUST CAN”T STOP!! Isn’t this fun??!
I remember many many years ago when us old millennials used to have free time on the internet, blogging was like, really cool! I feel like everyone had a blog! So much so, that social media platforms used to have a blog section on everyone’s profile! Isn’t that so awesome!??! Sharing your thoughts in a healthy way?
I think one of the best things about blogging is that you’re taking your time to find the right words to put together so everything makes sense. So you have a coherent thought that others would understand. You also get to stop and reread everything before you share it. It’s not about sharing every single thought that has ever crossed your mind. Cause let me be the one to break this to you, some thoughts do NOT need to be shared with the world. Just saying!
What kind of blogs did I frequently read??
Well THANK YOU so much for asking!
I used to be really into fashion/decorating blogs. I love looking at all the cute and ORIGINAL outfits people would put together. Yeah, they were all still on tread but it felt like people used to have more personality back then.
I was also really REALLY into vegan blogs. Any vegan blog I’d come across, I’d follow. I loved reading about new vegan makeup brands, skincare, household cleaners, and of course, recipes! I was a vegetarian in high school and once I went to college, I also graduated into veganism.
Honestly, i still very much love vegan food. I love tofu! I just couldn’t take the side effects I started to have while I was vegan. To be fair - I am in a much better mental state than I was back then so maybe if I were to try veganism again, it would be totally different experience! But i guess we’ll never know! ;P
Of course, I wouldn’t be a regular ol’ teenage girl if I wasn’t into makeup blogs! Even when YouTube make up tutorials became a thing, those creators still maintained a blog and honestly, those were probably my favorite. Nothing felt like an ad, and even if it was an ad, it was all very professionally disclosed and bloggers really only recommended things they used in their everyday lives. It wasn’t so fake. There were also makeup bloggers/youtubers that would share their personal thoughts, opinions, and experiences and those were really enjoyable to read as well.
You know how everyone also says that the book is better than the movie??
Maybe we can just look at blogging as if it were us reading a book? Like, yeah, the movie is watchable but reading just feels better. It actually feels like you’ve accomplished something.
That’s also how I look at wringing a blog. I don’t think I’m good enough to be a published author but blogging actually feels appropriate for me. It feels like I’m qualified enough and a decent enough writer to keep a blog. Now, is my grammar/punctuation the best?? Hell nah!
To be really honest with you, I should probably take a college English course (or 30) just so I can better myself, for the sake of you, the reader!!
SO YEAH! I’m going to keep a proper blog. If you’ve come across my blog, welcome! :) I’m so glad you’ve decided to give my (appropriate) inner thoughts a read! I also hope to see you come back because I’m pretty sure, for how much I can talk, I’ll be rambling on and on here VERY often.
See yah next time!
♡ Dany
I promise, the book will be better than the movie.
