Week 2: A weak week... // SAHM Running Diaries



 WEEK 2: 3/29 - 4/4

I started this week feeling really strong but it didn't stay that way.

I had an intense urge/need to clean my home this week. I was looking around and seeing all the dust, clutter, and just couldn't let another week go by without doing a spring clean around here. I swept! I moped! I moved furniture around! I did mountains of laundry! So my running took a hit this week for the sake of cleaning up my home and you know what?! It is what it is. That's mom life for yah. I have people I care for and I'm willing to move my running schedule around if that means we all live in a cozy and comfy home. #momlifethuglife

Sun.: 1.5 mile Run, done. It was hard and I had to stop and do some walking but it was nice to feel my booty and thighs burning from a good run.

Mon.: Rest day, thank fu*k! My legs need a good stretch so a day off in-between is very much welcome. Also helpful because my house is a wreck after the weekend and mama has got to get down to business!

Tue.: 🚫 planned a run but didn't make it☺

Wed.: 🚫 day off anyway 🤷

Thu.: lol. Who would've thought that deep cleaning parts of my house for two days in a row would knock me flat on my booty?!?! NOT ME!

I also hate hate hate stroller running. I try to make myself like it but it's so hard and totally takes me out of the zone because I'm just worried that my babe is doing alright in the jogger. I just prefer running alone, I guess. 

As it turns out, I still love running ❤️ got my run done for today and tomorrow we cross train ;)

Fri.: 🚫

Sat.: last day of the week, last chance to get in a run for wk2. Where did my motivation go?!? It's still early but ugh, wtf?!

I ran. I took my dog with me and will continue to do so whenever I possibly can. Whatever.

All I can do is try again. I'm not perfect and some days I won't feel like going for a run and it is what it is. I'm working on myself everyday and this is just another aspect of growth and change. 

I hate falling off the running wagon and I hate getting back into a routine even more! This is seriously the worst part.
