Leftovers but make them cute | A Recipe? | How to transform boring dinner leftovers

I highly recommend dressing your next salad with both balsamic and red wine vinegar! OMG, my favorite salad ever! Also recommend soaking your sliced onions in ice cold water and a splash of vinegar. Let it sit until you're ready to use and then pat dry in a tea towel or paper towel.

Since our supreme leader (The Orange PDF)  is currently fucking up our whole country, finances have been at the forefront of everyones everyday thoughts, right??

Well here’s the fun thing about being the primary parent; you get to cook every single meal, every single day - FOR THE REST OF OUR LIFE!!! :D

Today I’m going to show you how to use up food you’ve already got sitting in your fridge, freezer, or pantry!

Last week I roasted a whole chicken, a few veggies, and I cooked some unseasoned bulgar to add to a vegan black bean burger that was NOT enjoyed by the kids in this household :’( Husband and I really liked it (it was a decent vegan burger but our tastebuds are more hardened than theirs sooo, fair enough.

TODAY I’m going to use those three to make a whole new meal and it’s good be super simple and hella tasty! What’ll make your food the tastiest is seasoning. If you like your food on the plain side, you do you, baby! Sometimes plain rice hits the spot and sometimes we make orange rice.

First you’re going to take the chicken meat off the bones. You can save the skin and bones for whatever you want (idk what I’ll do) and chop that up into bite size pieces. Next, make a tasty cheese white sauce to go over some thick wide noodles. I’ll be using fettuccine noodles cause that’s what we like around these parts.

Now I’m sure you’re wondering; WHAT THE HECK ARE WE GOING TO DO WITH THOSE VEGGIES?? With the chicken, I also baked some carrots, onions, and potatoes. I’m gonna finely chop those babies up using my food processor, toss in the cooked bulgar, add in a little flour, egg, cheese, and whatever else I can find in my fridge, and shallow fry those little suckers UP!

I’ve never made these before but I’m excited and I know it’ll kick ass! But I’ll be sure to update and let y’all know what my little stinkers think about them.

Would've been a million times tastier if I would've had some basil pesto & ricotta but I was fresh out :(

These were basic as fuck. Tasty with ketchup, would've been great with bbq sauce, & adding meat/cheese wouldv'e made it even better!

As you can SEE, dinner turned out basic but lovely. With a little red pepper flakes and parm cheese sprinkled on top, it was a 10/10 dinner.

:)

I don't mind eating leftovers but if I can transform them into a totally new meal, I'm always going to choose that option.

What about you? Are you a leftovers girlie or do you cook a fresh meal for every dinner??

Thanks for reading.
